The Cleveland-Region Interprofessional Area Health Education Center (CRI-AHEC) is hosted by Cleveland State University (CSU) and partners closely with the CSU School of Nursing and CSU-NEOMED for the recruitment, education, & placement of health professions students.  CRI-AHEC partners with area entities to positively impact communities with disproportionate health disparities.  The center facilitates an Interprofessional approach, with opportunities for health professions students and professionals to enhance their cultural competency by providing community-based health education and services to these disadvantaged communities in need.  Additionally, CRI-AHEC develops programming that recruits students from the greater Cleveland area into a variety of health professions, via specialized pathway initiatives, established pipeline programs, and connecting with collegiate cooperatives.
